The same way, Herriegel recognizes in his book that the aim, the true target of the archer is not the physical archery target (Fig. 8.11), but rather lies in the archer himself. It is the aim, in spite of his doing, his Actions, and yet with the help of his doing, his Actions, to reach an unmoved still core, an unmoved Center. The goal is to achieve Centricity:It is necessary for the archer to become, in spite of himself, an unmoved center. Then comes the supreme and ultimate miracle.

art becomes “artless”,

shooting becomes not-shooting,

a shooting without bow and arrow,

the teacher becomes a pupil again,

the Master a beginner,

the end a beginning
